Day Wise Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar → Barkot

Your journey starts from Haridwar in the morning. Our Tag Getaways team will assist you with pickup and boarding. Enjoy a beautiful drive to Barkot through mountains, rivers, and green valleys. When you reach Barkot, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel and get ready for the Yamunotri visit tomorrow. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 2: Barkot → Yamunotri Dham → Barkot

After breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti, the starting point of the Yamunotri trek. You will walk 6 km to reach the Yamunotri temple, enjoying waterfalls, forests, and fresh mountain air along the way. Visit Yamunotri Dham, Suryakund (hot water spring), Garur Ganga, and Bhairavnath Temple. After prayers and darshan, trek back to the base and drive back to Barkot. Dinner and overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 3: Barkot → Uttarkashi

After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, a holy town on the banks of River Bhagirathi. Check in to your hotel and rest. Visit Uttarkashi Vishwanath Temple, a famous Shiva temple, and Prakasheshwar Mahadev Cave, an ancient cave temple. Enjoy dinner at your hotel and get ready for the Gangotri trip tomorrow. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 4: Uttarkashi → Gangotri Dham → Uttarkashi

Today, after breakfast, drive to Gangotri Dham. Enjoy scenic river and mountain views along the way. At Gangotri Temple, take blessings from Goddess Ganga. If weather permits, you may take a holy dip in the Ganga River. After darshan, return to Uttarkashi for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Uttarkashi → Sitapur

After breakfast, start your journey to Sitapur, the gateway to Kedarnath. Drive through beautiful valleys and rivers. Check in to your hotel or cottage arranged by Tag Getaways. Relax and have dinner, as tomorrow begins the Kedarnath trek. Overnight stay at Sitapur.

Day 6: Sitapur → Kedarnath Dham

Early morning, drive to Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. En route, visit Sonprayag where two sacred rivers meet. Trek 18 km to reach Kedarnath Temple. On the way, pass Bhim Bali, a popular rest stop. Upon arrival, check in to your tent accommodation near the temple. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay near Kedarnath Temple.

Day 7: Kedarnath → Sitapur

Wake up early for Kedarnath darshan. Visit Shankaracharya Samadhi located behind the temple. After darshan, trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Sitapur. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at Sitapur.

Day 8: Sitapur → Tungnath → Pipalkoti

After breakfast, drive to Pipalkoti via Chopta Valley. Enjoy beautiful views of mountains and forests. Trek to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world. Enroute visit Rudraprayag, a sacred river confluence. Check in to your hotel at Pipalkoti. Dinner and overnight stay at Pipalkoti.

Day 9: Pipalkoti → Badrinath Dham → Pipalkoti

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath Temple. Visit the sacred temple and take a holy dip in Tapt Kund, the hot water spring near the temple. After darshan and rituals, return to Pipalkoti. Dinner and overnight stay at Pipalkoti.

Day 10: Pipalkoti → Haridwar

After breakfast, start your journey back to Haridwar. Enroute stop at Nandprayag and Rudraprayag, famous river confluences. Reach Haridwar with spiritual blessings and beautiful memories of your Char Dham Yatra. Tour ends.
