Day 1: Haridwar - Guptkashi
The journey begins from Haridwar, the holy gateway to the Char Dham region. Drive towards Guptkashi, passing through scenic Himalayan roads, river valleys, and small hill towns. En route, enjoy views of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Guptkashi is a spiritually significant town associated with Lord Shiva and serves as a key halt before the Kedarnath trek. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Guptkashi or Sitapur.
Day 2: Guptkashi - Kedarnath
Early morning, drive to Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. From here, begin the 16 km trek to Kedarnath (pony, doli, or helicopter services available at additional cost). Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, surrounded by snow-clad peaks and the Mandakini River. After darshan at Kedarnath Temple and attending the evening aarti, check in for an overnight stay near the temple.
Day 3: Kedarnath - Guptkashi
Wake up early for morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple, followed by the trek back to Gaurikund. Drive onwards to Guptkashi. The return journey allows time to reflect on the divine experience while enjoying the peaceful Himalayan landscapes. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 4: Guptkashi - Haridwar via Rishikesh
After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar. En route, visit Rudraprayag, the sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers, one of the Panch Prayags. Continue towards Rishikesh, known as the Yoga Capital of the World, where you may visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, or Triveni Ghat (time permitting). Arrival in Haridwar by evening for final drop. Tour concludes.
